    Hi All, do anyone know what do you feed the Nannostomus sp. "coral red"
    i try dry food, it seen to eat but very slow. wonder if there is other food more suitable. thanks

    They do have a scientific name already and it's N. mortenthaleri.

    They can be a little picky about food. As with picky fishes, they will take to live food more readily, but then, there is always a risk of introducing diseases via the live food.

    Flakes should be okay. They aren't always voracious about food but as long as they are eating, I think they should do just fine.

    But... they are not the easiest of fish to keep. Do a search in the forum, there are some discussions.
