A species of ant is eating the nectar on the under part of the lid. This ant can crawl around the pitcher without falling down.
Today I went out with some photography friends to Padawan area to photograph Nepenthes reinwardtiana & others species of pitcher plant.

Cute little aerial pitcher of Nepenthes ampullaria.
Nepenthes mirabilis
A caterpillar is trying to escape from the slippery wax plates inside the pitcher. Few minutes later, this poor caterpillar fell down & drown to dead, few minutes later.....& became the food of this carnivorous plant.
