    May i know what moss is suitable for a moss foreground? Would like to create a moss foreground for my 2 ft tank...

    Any mosses will do except taiwan because they are weeds.

    i prefer chrismas moss, spiky moss and peacock moss for foreground..
    all these look very nice in my tank..

    sorry still don't get it, weeds? will it look ungly on the foreground?

    Taiwan moss grows fast, and so is troublesome to maintain. Weeds are plants that grow extremely fast.

    Agree with the rest. Spiky moss is nice for foreground. It has nice and strong looking frond and is fast growing.

    Previously, there was this beautiful "creeping" moss in the display tank of the now defunct Gen X but I hardly see creeping moss around nowadays. As the name implies, you can imagine how good it looks on foreground.

    yup. agree. spiky moss as foreground is indeed very nice. Had a very nice result using spiky moss as foreground plant in my tank. Just make sure you've got a fan to keep your tank cool, it's not that tough too

    Taiwan & Java moss are weed? Think depends lor... If you have a non co2 setup like mine, they are just nice In fact I can't wait for them to grow!

    I'm actually going to start a CRS tank & want to grow moss... I like the Java Moss & was wondering if I could grow this without CO2... Any comments is appreciated...

    sure Java moss can grow almost any conditions
