If you guys have been to Changi Point there is this LFS that is using this concept as what Simon had drawn on his display tank,which I was thinking of using this idea.If only I have my digcam.on that day.[]

the lights can be quite heavy depending on the brand....i not too much worried about the rod but more of the screw attachment to the backboard of the cabinet.

Quite agree with you David..... guess it depends on the cbinet design. Some may be ok but some may not be strong enuf.....
