I have to go all the way to Bangkok end up buying this Indian loach, purported to be an undescribed Thai loach. Still a very nice fish… Schistura beavani

I recently bought a bunch of these guys from C328, some of them have red tails, some don't. They are from the same batch.I'm wondering if the redtails differentiate the sex or are they from different species? My camera is on long term loan so no pictures. Very reclusive and only appears during feeding time.

The tanks near the fish food section. There were still some last week. You might have to flip the box filters to flush them out.

I also remember seeing another similar loach at Horizon couple of months back. Interestingly these seemed to have extended 'necks' and could turn their heads slightly.

I did a search and found Nemacheilus fasciatus from Loaches Online.Or at least what I think it is. Tried my phone camera again but came out blurry.
