    hi everyone

as everyone probably knows by now that my discus tank is invaded by snails from outerspace[]

dont want to put puffer or loach in as they are really going to stress my discus...read in Amano website that rams eats snails....but somehow i gonna take a big risk on rams as i have unfortunately sent quite a number of them to fishy heaven.

any one knows of any snail-eating fish?

apistogrammas eat snails. they will remove or harass almost all snails and snails' eggs are one of the favourites. they should be more acceptable to your discus. []

    David,
    most cichlids will eat snails.
i too reccomend rams..a large checkerboard might work too..
Or some other peacefull cichlid, but cannot think of one right now that will be fine with discus..
    try a ram again..
