Hey, nice ya to see ya fall over to the "dark side":P hehhee. Anyway, that's not lazy, just perhaps need to have a few ferns here and there and voila, ya've got an immediate transformation. So are ya going for a cloud forest type of setting or a tropical rainforest floor?

    Regards,
    Phillipe.

Ahhh,... memories... now it's matured and evolved to a different setting altogether. Yea that's one of my 2 footers. I used black styrofoam to siliconed to the base to separate both land and water area. Its quite useful and practical in many ways.

You can get black styrofoam at ArtFriend or simply at C328 as they're selling a variety of mock backgrounds made of styrofoam.

    Hope it helps

    Regards,
    Phillipe.

What type of moss is used in the soil.

And because this seems all wet?

That's taiwan moss and star moss on the land area. It thrives due to the high humidity in the tank, and yes the land portion do have some water in it. The filling is just leica ( clay granules ). It's easier in the long run and no worries about having trapped anaerobic bubbles in the soil.

    Regards,
    Phillipe.
