He (croaks) is putting on weight on a diet of super worms (gut loaded with all the good stuff). Sits on the palm and too lazy to move.

I think this is the "standard" size. 3 feeds of 2 superworms a week.

    Hi,
just out of curiosity...do you decapitate the superworm? Heard some things about they biting around in the stomach after they are swallowed .
    Very nice frog anyway.
    thanks

Alright, Mr Froggie just been put on a diet. He hunts by sight so the superworm has to be moving. So far no problem...should I be worried?

With all due respects guys, and I really appreciate your concerns, I have kept White's for many years (outside S'pore) and seen many specimens in person, this is really their standard size, anything else I consider underfed. We cannot use other slim bodied species (e.g. Red eyed) as comparison. This is but one example of a healthy specimen:

As a personal opinion... i don't think your frog looks fat. In fact.. i think it is better it is looking like that than thin...and famished. Some people have not seen a real adult white's tree frog so you have to understand that to them the frog looks terribly overweight.

anyway... they really dont have suction cups on their feet... technically speaking.. people have thought that they were really long time ago.. but they really aren't..

With all the frog craze going on, I'm tempted to get started again.

Anyway Gecko, great looking specimen you have there!! Just a nice handful!

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
