i have been toying with the idea of getting some leaf fishes... but i need to find out some specifics before making the decision.
i am aware that there are 2 popular species for aquariums; the Nandus nandus and the Nandus nebulosus...

    1. which one of these two are actually from brackish habitats?

    2. how to tell the difference between them? some pictures would be nice.

    3. do they require any special needs other than live foods?

    thnks

I believe both Nandus nandus and Nandus nebulosus can be found in both freshwater as well as brackish water.

You can easily find pictures of them in Google images. However, do take note that they are best kept in species tank or with fishes that are larger than they are. These predatory fishes can easily swallow fishes up of half of their size.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
