would like to know as well, I got small bio-load, good waterflow but still seeing BBA here and there.
As above, I would like to know what are the causes for a tank infect with BBA? Cos I can't seems to get rid of BBA, & it keeps coming back more & more.
As from what I know poor waterflow, high fish bio-load or lack of plants invite BBA..So any other reasons to invite BBA into a tank?

Poor or variable CO2 levels. High stable CO2 level is needed but does not kill the BBA. You need to remove it completely and see if it comes back. It should not once the CO2 is good.

Actually on the specifics on what CAUSES BBA ... I guess it is always introduced into a tank via plants we acquired and not cleaned properly ... and coupled by the fact that we provide this little bit of BBA with a "condusive" water conditions ... and there you have it ... a BBA carpet
I use Excel Flourish on parts that i cannot remove out of the tank
For a more defind reasoning behind stable CO2 for BBa appearences::
