The fish especially the top and the ventral fins are way over exposed. You need to figure out some way to redirect your flash from higher up.

Haven't been touching my camera for a long time. Finally I pick up my camera today, and took some shots of my favourite emperor tetra. I will like to share with you all one of the pics.

yes its a bug bear we all have to face in fish photography, especially with tetras (they change colour when flashed) and silvery cyprinids.

Yup. Honors degree topic will be to photography a green neon tetra showing its green shine...
