    hi all,

    should i on my CO2 24/7 or just 8 hrs per day?

    Turn it on as long as your lights are on. Leaving it 24/7 will be just a waste of CO2 because plants don't need CO2 when the lights aren't turned on/photosynthesizing.

    If you are using a solenoid regulator, plug it to the same timer as your lights.

    if u dont wish to buy a solenoid.. u can manually open and close the co2 tank main valve [but care not to use brute force to tighten it] like what i'm doing all the while. like that. my 3ltr co2 tank can tahan 6-8months running at 3bps for 6hrs/day

    will the swing in ph from turning off the co2 have adverse effects on the fish?

    Although that has been considered, frankly I've never seen any effect on my fish.
