why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I've also been looking for the blue emperor for quite some time. Ben use to have them. The last place I saw the fish was at Neo Kim Suey Aquarium (blk211 hougang). That wud be a better bet.

let me know if you come across any lfs that sells them.

it's Danio erythromicron. used to be known as microrasbora erythromicron, recently placed in the genus Danio. saw it for sale once at C328 but have not seen it for a long time.

the blue emperor, Inpaichthys kerri, can be found but they're on irregular basis. most of the time u only can find the common emperor tetra, Nematobrycon palmeri.

kelstorm, haha, badis badis is a totally different fish. and there's two badis species for sale in SG. one's Badis badis and it's subspecies Badis badis burmanicus (blue badis). the other is Badis sp. "Scarlet" or known as Badis bengalensis to some people. that's the smaller scarlet badis u see for sale in super small sizes. []
