    Hi,

    I'm trying to get some SAE to battle my algae problem.

    Saw lfs name some similar looking ones "Xiao Fei Hu" on the tank. Are those SAE ?

    Nope. SAE not = Flying Fox. Read this to tell them apart.

    you can try to identify a real sae.
    1) black stripe extends all the way to fork of tail (impt.)
    2) body is slightly gold in colour.
    3) fins are almost transparent.

    nature may not have stock cos apparently the latest stock not very healthy. you can also try Pet Safari, although slightly ex.
    why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
