    Hi Valice

Thanks for the warm welcome. Feeling at home already. It's a pleasure to be residing in the same estate as you.

Excuse me but can you tell me how i could scale down my pics and post them here?

    Tks

You got to use a picture editing software to do the scaling. I believe the Paint program in Windows is able to do the job. Or you can also download any of the free to use photo editing software.

    Hi all

It will be a while before i can post pictures of my 6g nano setup. I'm using a Macbook so Irfan isn't quite compatible. Need to hunt for another software fast. Anyone else here using a Mac? Give me a hand please?

    Thanks ahead.

In the mean time maybe I can give you all some details of my 6G setup I.
Each time i add liquid plant ferts there seems to be brown algae developing.
I would try a 3-day 'black out' to stop them from invading my whole tank and it seems to work. Just what is wrong with my setup?

    Hi babygrand,

    Welcome to Aquatic Quotient!

You might like to post your algae query in the respective section to get a better response. But Desmond's suggestion definitely works for brown algae.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

They definitely won't! I got one's that's very active but scared of me and one's that is less active and slightly round at the belly. He looks alright to me, though i am not sure whether it's bloaty belly.
