My current planted tank is not bubbling currently..wondering is it too little CO2? But judging by the pH/KH graph (mine KH=3,pH=6. it is in the optimal zone. Or am i wrong? Any advice given is appreciated. Also kinda confuse when last time David posted a rough guide on CO2 rich water

A rough guide for CO2 rich water are

    KH 3 = 6.3
    KH 4 = 6.5
    KH 5 = 6.7
    KH 6 = 6.9

Isn't the CO2 level too much when KH is 5 and pH is 6.7 on the graph? 30ppm?

There's a good article, with a CO2 calculator, on this topic at: http://www.csd.net/~cgadd/aqua/art_plant_co2chart.htm

From that calculator, I found your CO2 to be 14ppm. OK leh.

I found that different sites proposed different CO2 ranges:
TheKrib.com stated 10-20ppm CO2 as optimal, over 35ppm as stressful to fish.
Tropica.com CO2 chart seem to suggest 20-40ppm CO2 for plants.

are the underside of your plants covered with bubbles?
bubbling normally occurs where there is a cut or tear on leaves.
