Could be and Echinodorus rose. [So many hybrids!]

What about E.sp 'Oriental'?
Oriental has bright green leaves!
It's a hybrid that has nice new fresh pink leaves that turn bright green as it ages.

so the first is a Rotala rotundifolia ?
the second plant's plantlets are reddish but when they become bigger they usually turns green (sometimes reddish or reddish green).
so now i only need to confirm the id of the second plant i think
after scouring the net for pics of osiris, rose and oriental, i can quite confirm it is not rose , thus left 2 options, either osiris and oriental.
but it looks more osiris to me than a oriental though.
but guys, wats the diff between the osiris and the oriental ?
I think let it grow for a bit.
For what it's worth, the Echinodorus orientals' I've seen has more green pink than brown red.
If you have Christel Kasselman's book-Aquarium plants, you may find more info on Echinodorus, her specialty.

I have both E.Osiris and E.Oriental.
From my specimens, I found:
- E.Osiris grows bigger. The leaves try to grow out of the water if they can.
- E.Osiris leaves are tougher. I try to pinch one leaf off and I almost couldn't.
- My E.Osiris did not produce plantlets. The specimen, I was told, came from Tropica.
- The E.Oriental produces plantlets readily.
Currently I guess it is E.Oriental.

thanks all for the reply.
juggler -> quite possible a oriental too. from wat i observed, the full grown leaves are more to a uniform green colour while the plantlets are very much reddish.
will observe more though and then post here.
In the mean time i think i will just post it as an oriental, till i get a better picture of things
What is the current size of the full grown leaves at the moment? It could give some indication of the species. Mine specimen of E.sp'Oriental' is staying at around 20 cm since a mid 2006.
Echinodorus are extremely plastic depending on growth conditions.
Oriental and osiris have different vein pattern. The former have veins that join at the base of the leaf blade.

Picture A: Rotala indica
Picture B: Ech. barthii ( a hybrid from Hans Barth, Germany}
On closer inspection i think that's correct. The vein detail and bright pink leaves are distinctive.

Stan, you are saying who is correct? Just to clarify.
Samuel's lah. The pics of the oriental on tropica is very clear and looks identical to the one Samuel posted. http://www.tropica.dk/go.asp?plant=053h
