Sorry but where did u get the 'Oranges' from?
I got a few questions about cory-keeping...
1)Can they tolerate high current? I understand that they live in streams in South America.
2) How to breed them? I am having trouble in spawning Venezula orange. Tried breeding the orange for about 3-4 mths. I think i only got one gravid female...Tried shallow water levels; deep water levels, bare tank; tank with gravel, large water changes ( had checked weather forecast beforehand), lotsa variety of food... all to no avail.
3) How many cories can I keep in a 1.5 ft tank? Currently i got 6 orange, 5 pymgies, 4 green 'cories' and 1 rabauti in that tank. I got about 15 albinos too but still in my other tanks...
Thanks.

If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.

FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.
Thanks!
I got all my cories except the pgymies at Seng Bros... still waiting for them to sell their aldofis and pgymies.

Are corydoras known to eat their eggs/fries ?
Well, one of the books I read says certain types dun... I think the pygmy type of cories would not, if I remember correctly.
What is the address for Seng Bros ? Understand it is before Gan's but I guess it depends on which direction you're coming from. I will normally get there via the Kranji. Thks!
pygmaeus don't eat their eggs if i remember correctly. and according to FAMA magazine, pygmaeus are one of the easiest dwarf species to spawn. and yeah, they sorta like a slight current in the tank.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.

hi chris,
most cories will eat their eggs, and no they cant tolerate too high a temp. the max will be 30C over that then its kinda bad for them.
ooppsss! ok got me wrong!!! but as for current most cories will prefer some current but not too strong since they r all small :P have the output tube blow against the side of the glass instead of directly on the bottom.

Thanks for the info.
i am using a box filter now, easier to maintain.
I got new strategy to breed them too.
"Condition them altogether first then put them into breeding tank"
i read that cories spawn after a the heavy moonson rains.
someone tried using 10 airstones to make the rain effect.... and it worked. cant really remember how he did it though, but its something to reseach about.
HI,
My panda cory fins got nip by my puffer..[]
Will the fins grow back? Anyone know?
no worries!! the fin will grown back in no time at all. just be sure to chk that there r no infection on the fin itself. i have one cory that lost almost 70% of its tail but grown back in 2 weeks' time.----------------

btw dont keep puffers with cories, they r too aggressive for the tame and docile corydoras.
