i have a 1.5 X 1.5 X 3 feet tank moderately covered with nanas and barteris. The tank is currently housing 10 bosemani rainbows, 6 incisus rainbows, 4 clown loaches, 2 yoyo loaches and 2 red tail sharks. Filtration is by an Eheim 2026. no air pump installed.

the question is... am i overcrowding my fishes? if not, how many more fishes can i add? i have the intention of adding one or two otos/SAEs and possibly some shrimps. thanks for any advice.

Not a chance, you have very big specimens with equally large number for quantities. IMO, you need a 6 footer to put those guys in, since they can grow really big. I have seen a 4 footer with 12 or so bosemani rainbows and they make the tank look cramp.

Bioload is too high. Do not overfeed otherwise the water quality will deteriorate if you are unable to change water frequently.
