The New Post search result will not show the post which you just replied. It will only show the ones that have not been read by you.
How come when I post/reply in a thread, and after submission, I can't see the thread that I've post in the New Post section?
Sometimes when I post, I don't look at the forum the thread is in.
Because of this, I sometimes lost or have difficulties finding the thread.

The New Post search result will not show the post which you just replied. It will only show the ones that have not been read by you.
To search for your post, u can use "Search" ->"Advanced Search"->fill in "user name".
Well, don't you find it a little tedious?
Furthermore, I tried searching for my name but there were no results..
The only thing I can do is to dig up threads that I've posted; which is a tedious task but I've no choice..
I don't encounter this problem for other forums though..no offence.
So Mod, you might wanna do something about this?

It depends on how you see it.
Having it appearing again will clutter up the results generated by the "New Post" search engine.
But the some other forums you mentioned also clear out New Posts after some time and tell you that there is no new posts and not even show the New Posts in threads that you have not read.
Our admin will look into your suggestion still and decide whether to implement your suggestion. Still, a word of thanks from us.
Instead of new posts, click on '1 Day Ago'. That will show you ALL posts in the last 24 hours, regardless of whether you've read them or not.
Besides, after you've posted to a thread, you will be brought back to the same thread with your post added to it.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Thanks for all the reply.
I will try to adapt to this forum's style.

Hi whiskerbreed,
You can also try to click on the Search button at the top. From there, you can either:
1. Find All Your Threads
2. Find All Your Posts.
Only 1 click away. Quickiest way, by posts (if it's not your thread), or by thread (if you are thread starter).
After you have replied to a thread, it will not show up as a new posts as the system recognised that you have read it and therefore it's not new anymore.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Okie Mod, that IS the quickest way to find all my post.
