Are you referring to Celestichthys margaritatus (formerly known as Microrasbora sp. 'galaxy')? You can probably find something useful in this thread,
http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...ad.php?t=23742.
This is also discussed in the description paper of C. margaritatus. PDF here,

Accordingly, they can breed in soft, acidic water or in hard, alkaline water. Probably need cool water as well. To avoid predation, you may probably want to consider setting up a breeding tank, with lots of moss. Once they have spawned, consider removing the fishes as they may eat the eggs.
Otherwise, in a community tank, it will need to be very heavily planted so that there is lesser chance of eggs/fries predation. There have been some spawning reports when left on its own in a heavily planted tank.
Didn't find many accounts of Microrasbora erythromicron spawning, but here is one on accidental spawning.

For Boraras brigittae, see this thread. Their breeding process is not very different from B. maculatus or B. urophthalmoides.

Good luck.
