What is the size of your tank? What fish are you keeping at the moment? How many fishes? If you keep too many fishes in a small tank, you properly need high capacity filter (External canister type) rather than those small internal filters. Remember, always go for higher capacity filter..you won't regret it.

For so many fishes in a tank, you should get an external canister filter.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Wowwwww~!!!!! Overcrowding man!!! How can you be so cruel [] ..Joking onlt [] . Maybe you newbie so always like to see lots of fish inside a tank instead of one or two huh? I can understand. So now you need a high capacity external filter like those of Ehiem or Atman.. Plus probably airpump due to overcrowding..hopefully nature don't take some of them away.

    Hi guys,

    thanks for all advise.

Problem solved. Murky water due to the feed I gave to the fishes.

Frozen shrimps is the culprit. Now I feed with frozen blood worms, currently water as clear as my ...........ah......... POCKET.

No worries for over crowding tank is quite big compared to normal 2 feet and anyway upgrading to 3 x 2 x 2 feet tank. Any lobang....[:]

Water clear is one thing. Beware of the unseen .

NH3 and NO2 are the potential killers. Many novice fishkeepers who are unaware may suddenly find their fishes all die at one go.

When your filter cannot cope with the bio-load, a NO2 spike can wiped out everything.
