Purple crystal shrimps at Seaview (Jalan Kayu)

Was at Seaview earlier today and saw some purple crystal shrimps. They look alot like tigers, but with a distinctive purple overtone for the lines. Look really great, anyone had experience with them before?

Urgh, trade names. Are these the same as Purple/Red Zebra/Tiger shrimps? Hmmm...

Unfortunately getting a scientific name from that LFS would be a challenge, so trade name would have to suffice.

Hahaa, new breed of shrimps are normally hard to keep and easy to die.
This is due to the weak genes they have with respect to the water parameter in Singapore. You need to breed them carefully and slowly adapt them to the water before they can breed readily like Red Cherry.
