I came across this funny looking plant before and thought the LFS might be pulling a fast one. Recently after being better informed, I spotted some again. Not much information found on them. Are they 'difficult' plants? As in high light,CO2,Low temp. etc? Most of the plants I see consist of a single stalk without the roots. Will they survive?

Not difficult. Definitely not requiring high-lighting. CO2 and lower temperatures definitely a plus as with most plants.

Resembles a "palm tree". If there are no roots, maybe float it at the surface till roots form?
