I think this is what I bought from Teo farm few weeks ago and they mentioned is from Indonesia.

It is a very hardy crypt for emerse as well as submerse, except my emerse one slowly melting away and the new leaves are very small .

What kind of soil & other compound mix inside ?

    Kirana,
Your 'Mi-Oya' are so deliciously done.
I am currently growing 1 rizhome of 'Mi-Oya' submersed, and it's leaves are long and light brownish...totally different from its emersed form as shown in your photos.

Do you experience a situation whereby the leaves of the crypt curls? As in it grew up to be curls sideways?

I have a couple of leaves of C.wendtii 'Mi Oya' having that problem.

Mutation you think? Or nutrient problem?

I think it's nutrient deficiency. Most plants curl when nutrient deficient. Hate it when that happens.
Don't know exactly what is deficient but that's why I squirt the ECA instead of counting drops. lol. Condition improves quite dramatically. I really like the crypts condition in aquajournal 135. Wish somebody can translate page 40,41 and 53 on the conditions and fertilization methods. The spread on 42-43 IMHO is worth the price of that mag!

Sorry to hijack your thread Nico. Will make arrangements to see your tanks when I'm in Jakarta!

Don't think it's mutation. The leaves of my crypts all curl. My tank is a low tech tank, so no CO2 and little fertilisation. So I think it is about nutrient deficiency more than anything.
