If you do want to inject excel and have fauna in the tank. Please don't over do it unless you want to end up having a collection of dead specimens.
I would suggest for you to get to the root of the problem by correcting your water circulation and your CO2 as what Shadow mentioned.
Footnote:
Seachem Excel is not an algaecide, it just happens to get rid of BBA. It would be better if you could correct the CO2 issue instead of having to inject Excel, in the long run, you'll benefit better by understand your tank and your plant's needs as well

Bad CO2 circulation is usually the cause. Direct point injection of Excel usually do the trick, but extra care for your fauna. Else you can also try mechanically remove them with pincer. Sometimes inert matter under very high lighting will be easy target for it too.
Sounds a bit cruel, but you could try not feeding your yamatos for awhile.
