Plastic vs. real

I just got a ten gallon a couple days ago, and I was wondering, should I use real or plastic plants?

It is going to hold gold fish.

Go for plastic or foul tasting plants like Java ferns.

Yes. Reasons for this, in case you're wondering, goldfish are notorious for eating plants.
