Looking forward to see your tank!
Where do you hang out, as in forum-wise, the past 2 years before finding AQ?

Thanks. Expensive lessons trying to experiment. Read a bit on AQ when I started but sadly to say, not all give "correct" solution. That's why, try on my own and help friends setup (got people 'sponsor' for me to learn). LOL. Ny new 4 x 2 x 2 tank coming tomorrow. Will post picture when ready

For friends, I will normally go for proven methods (cannot let my 'reputation' down) but dare to try on my own. Belive it or not, my setup does not have any substrate, only root monster.

    Hi Roy,

    Welcome to AQ!!!

Nice tank you have. Very lush. Can't wait to see your new 4 ft set up.

One thing to note is that all the information on the forum is not the gospel truth, but experiences shared by various members. And everyone's experience varies. Given the differing tank parameters and the other various factors, results are often different even if instructions are followed to the 'T'.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

    Beautiful Tank, Roy..

It will be great to have you share experiences in this website... Like Benny said, even if the advice was "correct", consequences and results sometimes differ. And that is the fun/irritating thing about this hobby...

Sorry. I have visited ECO since they left Eminent (that's how long) and I stoped Apistos. Will visit ECO some day. This is my 2 ft tank.

    Hi Roy,

    Nice setup!
But I believe the moss and fern are tied on to some DW or BW.
Which plants are using root monster ?

    Using any liquid fert?
Hope to know more abt your tank parameter.

Yes, you are right. The ferns and moss are tied to driftwood. I used root monster on all stem plants (tigerlotus etc) and weekly dose of Seachem Flourish, trace and iron. For lighting Matrix P2 and 4 bps.
