heya jade, nice tanks u've got. just a suggestion for your Tanganyika tank, why don't u move the rock pile a bit more to the back and leave some space on the sand around the shells. makes it look more natural like the sand bed littered with snail shells.[]

I found a nice big pile at H20 before.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

jade, they're usually apple snail shells or some other large snail. the shells are brownish in colour and most of the cichlids use them as hideaways. looks real nice. though i've not seen them for sale for ages.

Jade, your tanganyikan tank very nice.
Have you managed to spawn anything?
so far i only keep Neo. brevis, Neo. Ocellatus and Neo. Brichardi, and the brevis have spawned. Soon i hope to get a few Comp's..

Most florists should have now , just go to your nearest one and ask them for snail shells.
They actually use it as a hanging 'mini planted pot' for plants like moneyplant.
