Hi, Acquired a mini puffer to rid unwanted snails in my small 2ft tank. Now, all snails are gone but the poor fella has nothing to eat! I suppose that's why it snipped off parts of my cherry barbs' tails, and my cherry shrimps are all gone!
Need to know what types of food (live food?) for mini puffer. I've tried live tubifex and blood worms but didn't notice it eating. Now i've been busy catching snails from my other tanks to feed this fella.

Dwarf puffers will take any live/frozen food. However, they are extremely curious creatures, and will check out other tank mates and food, before taking their time to eat. You can make sure that they eat by dropping food right in front of them.
