    Hi all,

I have a 30 L tank ( 2 foot - panoramic type), which I have used for my planted tank previously.

The current setup I have with it is an Eheim Classic 2213 filter, and a 2X24W T8 lighting.

My question is what else do I need to convert it to a marine tank housing an anemone with live rocks, some clowns and maybe a firefish or two? Is is even possible.

I do need a protein skimmer to keep anemones don't I? But the tank as it is, is so small, and hanging a protein skimmer would be an eye sore.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

You can try those filter and skimmer combo....

If you have plenty of live rocks as biological filter, you can forgo the canister filter and just go straight to the protein skimmer which is more important. Red sea's prizm hangon skimmer is quite good, there's optional surface attachment as well, if not, you can try other brands.

think your consent should be towards your lighting power first. seriously dn think you lights is enough for anemones. unless your tank is very shallow.
you dn want a skimmer? do 1 or 2 water changes weekly then.
