it is said that christmas moss will grow well only if the temperature is around 25 degrees?
what if the tank spends about half the day in an airconditioned room? the temp will be around 25 mostly when lights are off...
will christmas moss still be able to grow nicely in this kind of an enviornment?

ryan I think it is OK. my mosses are in a 5 litre tank in the office. They get aircon about 15 hours a day (less weekends) and they grow very lush without any fertilising other than fish poo (3 fish only).

    CO2 is DIY.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

I gave up on xmas moss. My 5ft tank has a chiller and it still cannot grow well. Becomes stringy after a few weeks. My yamatoes always like to gather on the mangrove root and have a moss feast.
