    i don't think so
budak got me 3 sprigs from thailand
bioplast is now selling some, but they're from me
so if you want i can spare some cuttings
all you need are one or two small sprigs and they'll grow into a big bush

yimin, your malayan very chio, great macro photography huh? looks like those $70 bbq prawn from newton
why don't you pass some najas to teo to propagate.

ps: how much would a custom tank 5×2×2 cost roughly from bioplast?

DEA, does the najas require cooler temperature? Does it also require high lighting?

    hwchoy, i have no idea
i'll check for u next time i go down (which should be tmr i think)
u wanna get one? but the waiting period is horrendous, seriously

    bfg, ehh, i dunno
cos my tank hits 27~28 in the day (fan) and 25 at night (aircon), while bioplast uses a chiller
strong light makes it look pink, is all
why not just get some to try? it's a very nice plant

OMG this is the plant i got like a tiny bit caught in a bushy stemmed plant i bought last december from FF at jalan kayu...
it then grew like mad and i found it a pess... but it was real pretty...
now i've got no more of it...
i last saw it in a pond at hua hin(thailand) marriot hotel used as a floating plant...

    []
ps:it kinda grew in any conditions...[]

if you can, thanx much. actually I will be going there soon, my CO2 almost gone already.

I'm thinking of a 5ft for a SEAsia/Malayan biotope, so probably some kind of hairgrass/crypto layout with shoals of local fishes (barbs, rasbora, etc) strictly no foreign fishes other than for algae maintenance. I'll make an exception for shrimps kekekeke

working on the wife now so long waiting time is no object

my malayans are either white or black
kinda boring, but i like the black ones especially those with the orange stripe on the back
the najas indica looks like another plant i once got along with other plants, but i thought THAT was more like an algae
jade knows what i'm talking about
ryan, sure u didn't get the bladderwort instead?

Gary, look in the LFS list under "System and Control Eng. Co."

Its between bendemeer rd and upp. serangoon rd.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Eh, I typed' Najas Indica' as the subject. Thursday is great 4 me too! Time? Wat about meeting at Nature on Wednesday, can be spectator to the great "Battle Of The Senior Citizen" at 12pm starring Hwchoy, Timebomb[ I think ] n Peter Chua. Think somebody is booking the nearest kopitiam 4 lunch 4 AQ members. Can have free lunch or a cup of kopi or teh n watch the 'Seniors' lashing at each other with their birth cert. Sure must have some paper cut injuries ah! Like that must standby an ambulance 2 the nearest hospital![:0] Wait a minute, Thomson Medical Centre is just opposite rite but never mind lah, at their age, when they reach the medical centre, maybe they will be admitted 4 something else[eg chest pain, from crossing the the road using the overhead bridge n walking up the steep slope! ] So how DEA?
