    Collected from a stream around 900 meter ASL.

    Start from Rana livida, common throughout southern China.

    Then JUMBO Paa spinosa, and close up pic shows why it's called spinosa..

    this is probably the most expensive frog for makan..retailing at RMB 120 per kg!

    Then we spotted this Rhacophorus yaoshanensis, thank god it survived....

    And this species, identified as Amolops ricketti, my semi-professional friend thinks it could be a undescribed species.

    This frog looks beautiful... was it attacked by the other frog? How did it die?

    When disturbed, it gives up milky fluids which are toxic, killed other frogs, nothing affects us, just a little smelly.
