i think temperature plays quite an important part in plant health. you won't see it in hardy, easy plants. but with difficult plants, you will see a difference. try planting tonina sp. in a tank above 30C and see it melting away.
Hi guys! Like to have your opinions on whether temperature plays an important part in good plant health? What is the optimal temperature? Can this temperature be obtained in a warm country like Singapore? (With no air-con or chiller unit that is. Fans are quite noisy though). Can I leave my present temperature at 30-32 degree celsius?

You have to select plants that will thrive in your tank.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Juggler's tanks
most plants can take 30~32
some of the more delicate plants like what oqs just said can't
but there are good alternatives that look pretty much the same but are much more hardy
I have read from Tropica site that you will need higher light to keep up with the increase metabolism at higher temperature.
