Hi. I've just started a livebearer tank, and fully planted. one of my small platies is on the bottom, and it looks like there is an eggsac stuck to her. i thought platies were supposed to give birth to live young? does that mean there is something wrong?

also - not sure if this is the right forum or should i ask somewhere else?

    thanks!!

Hi there, could you show us a picture of the platy? Livebearers are not supposed to have egg sacs. I suspect that it could be a fungal infection.

This thread might do better in the Fish Care section with a more appropriate title... Seems like the fish is sick...
