Sorry, no Straits Times but illegal as in how and why? Illegal to be sold and exported from Brazil?
wow, apparently they're illegal in singapore (according to today's Straits Times)...never knew that before. All those irresponsible pet owners who like to release their unwanted exotic pets into the wild are always creating trouble for others. Now I think there's going to be a clampdown on all LFS...gonna have alot of losses incurred for those who have just brought stock in

They said AVA bans fish that are venomous or have sharp appendages that can cause injury, and said that this applies to sting rays despite the fact that they have been commercially available for many years.
my first though was "what about catfish??" but that's what the Straits Times said anyway =)
Err?
Then how on earth does the big farms like Qian Hu bring them in?
Maybe it is only limited to certain allowed species?
i think they just haven't been conducting checks until now when they found stingrays in our reservoirs...no idea also, but the picture shown in ST was the same as the ones i saw in C328, Polyart and QianHu
