    Hi!
Can someone help me identify this aquatic plant that I came across while boar hunting? Is it suitable for our home tanks? Any special requirements?

    Cheers!

Barclaya, a relative of the waterlily.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Barclaya motleyi. Not recommended for home aquaria though. They need very acidic substrates and water and don't adapt well to a change of environment. And I think they are rare enough to be better left alone in the wild.
