The lost of habitat & reduction of fish & shrimp population have caused the hungry crocodiles in Sarawak to hunt for Humans.....but it was a big mistake!

News from New straits Times (May 27, 2007)

"A crocodile believed to have attacked Sannga Megong, a worker at an oil palm plantation in Sungai Sebeba last month, was caught and killed by villagers here yesterday.

Human bones, hair and parts of a skull were found in the belly of the seven-metre-long beast, which was caught in Sungai Similajau, about 100 metres from the location of the May 11 attack."

Michael, I hope your jungle adventures are not near any of these creatures. Fun, but safety first please.

    Cheers,

When your son got eaten than you will do the same, trust me.

Not revenge, but to get back part of the body so can bury or ... the cruel world is like that, stronger always eat the weak.

Even you work in a company also same situation. The smarter & stronger stay on top but might be brainless sometime ..

To stop this all human got to stop taking meat, fish .. turn to vegetarian than crocodile will have their peaceful day.

Being a Vegetarian is not for everybody IMHO-humans evolved to be smarter by eating meat. [some too smart! ]

Straying into a crocodile's hunting ground is unfortunate. The animal was only filling up it's stomach.

This will ultimately test our wisdom to balance between eco preservation and human population explosion/economic development.
