    Hi guys,

Took the pictures of all the prize winners at Aquarama on Thursday but didn't have time to post till today. Something for those too busy to go down to have a look themselves.

Yeah. I did manage to get a picture. Not great in my opinion as pure white subjects can be hell on the exposure metering. But thanks to Stan and Simon for their help, I manage to get this one dark and atmospheric shot...

For those interested, the background is darkened using high speed flash techniques commonly employed in portrait photography.

    Thomas,

I'm sure the quality of the picture can be improved when the visit is less rushed. We had only about 2 to 4 hours there and without assistance/assistants, it's almost impossible to get decent pictures.

More importantly, you got to see this rare fish live! Most of our overseas friends/members will never get to see this rarity.

    Cheers,

Cool! A Master is always a Master... What a difference...

It is a very beautiful fish, in my opinion... But I think a lot of Chinese folks will really think twice to have such a white fish in their homes... Me included...

    Yes. It's true. Really regrettable.

This should be one of the casualties...

To be honest, the show organisers are not knowledge enough to handle fishes, after so many years too. Perhaps someone should report to AVA and SPCA and shut the fish display down till they learn. But that's a different topic and I'm sorry for digressing.
