What apisto species u have????????
Gary, we don't sort the apistos as other LFS as there are nearly thousand of them. Instead, we placed them in the same tank, and put a standard price tag of $10 each. For some apisto fans, they did enjoy coming in small groups to identify the breed and helping each other to corner "THAT" apisto they want. As a matter of fact, we've 3 groups who'd spent few hours in front of the tank shortly after we annouce it on this forum. All went away extremely satisfied and grinning from ear to ear.
One last point to note: please bring enough cash as we do not have nets or visa facility in our farm. The nearest ATM is 10 mins drive (30 mins by foot) away.
Searched the web. Found this Ruby Tetra (Axelrodia riesei)

try this link... it show a pic of the beautiful fish
no 100% sure... but from some feature I roughly guess so
Simon,
the 2 species that you mentioned... you referring to the 4 tanks he has is it or the big one in front? It seems that there are more than 2 sp. Got a handful of other sp.
according to Gan, the 2 tank top and bottom is a diff species.. majority of them tank side by tank is the same.. but I have seen A. sp. fourstripe at Gan b4.. which is something like the iniridae
the bigger tank infront, house his older stocks of A. sp 'rotkeil', A. macmasteri and A. gibbiceps
Simon, so Peter extended your MC har? kekeke…----------------

why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

Simon,
Any idea how to sex the A. macmasteri? how to differentiate har?
the only way I know when they r in his tank is to spot the yellow ones... other then that, females r much smaller and doesnt have fin extension like the male
