Went to the DIY store just now and saw a 100W light for $20. Looks like it can fit my light casing well. is a 100w too much for a 5g/20litre/1feet tank?
there is also a 75w light available.

Okay..for a 5g, 100W is simply too much!!!! Imagine you have 20W/Gallon as compare to what 4-5W/Gallon which high light plants need plus not to say the heat dissipated by the lamp as well as problems like algae. By the way is it 6500K or 7200K?

So a 5g will require 15W or more.

yes, kenzo went to my place last sat. [
he helped to rearrange the plants in my tank, and gave me more tips on keeping plants. he said that i may not have enough light therefore i'm getting a brighter one.
