    the all black kind that DEA has....
    is it more ex or same price? the size is around the same rite?

    expensive, only slightly more
    i got mine in a 28kg pack for slightly more than what lonestar costs
    if you get the 5kg pack from the USA then it's gonna be a lot more expensive

    i remember calculating how much it would be
    and i remember it was more expensive than lonestar, but not by much
    but i can't remember how much it was

    I bought my black gravel from PetMart at $10 per 10kg. Just a little more than Lone Star, but its better and nicer to the eyes. All fish and plants stand out amongst the black background...

    note tho, uww's black gravel is different from mine
    his reminds me of slate more than gravel

    I see... so the edges are sharp or what? hmmmm... lucky you didn't get that or you'll have a tank filled with unhappy corys....
    the rounded one also can get from petmart?

    slate? it isnt round but flat? have sharp edges? definte not cory friendly

    the edges look sharp to me
    anyway
    people have been ripping the sharp gravel cory unfriendly theory apart since a long time ago
    i'd surmise that tank conditions are more important than the condition of the gravel
    some guy in the US once commented that he caught cories in a river where the gravel cut him
    *shrug*
