Anyone know where to get Micranthem. micranthemoides, went to TEO yesterday and he recommand me a plant that can produce the same effect as M.M ,think it is Micranthemum umbrosum(plant with small round leaf). I have problem planting them as they have thin stem and dun seem to grow upright...anyone one want to exchange them for MM but not cfm is Micranthemum umbrosum...

Hi Simon, sometimes ago I asked the questions of MM vs MM var. I got from Teo a plant which he claimed was MM. This plant grows very well in my tank but according to AquaJournal Vol 33, the plant that I bought from Teo is actually MM var (with 2 leaves per node, not 3-4 of MM). Are you pretty sure that what you have a MM. If so, I will like to get some from you.

    Thanks.

    nick,
i have seen and grown both 4 and 3 leaf whorl MMs around, but not much diff in their growth pattern.... as long as light is intense, they will spread out laterally. just keep looking.
