The E. stellata is available at Teo's. See their display tank. The secret to planting, according to them, is to plant the emersed form. The plant will later adapt to the tank conditions and grow beautifully. Buying the submersed form to plant usually result in the leaves melting away.
I am trying the emersed form and so far so good.

Pet Safari should have, only its damn ex.

BUt do note, Eustralis can be a touchy feely plant - demanding high light, co2, fert and gentle handling as the stem is prone to turning into mush when held too firmly. And if not enuf light reaches the lower parts of the stem, it melts too. Try to buy only those with very thick, robust stems, but best if go Teo's for emmersed form.

No, Pet Safari doesn't have them.

This is the NOT one i am looking for:

The only place I saw got, was at Sam & Yik at Marine Parade.

Not too sure if this is the exact species, but the one i
saw at Sam & Yik is really red, with thin dark stem. The leaves are red all the way from the bottom to the top.

    Something like this one:

The leaves were deep red and the stem didn't rot when it was shaded at the bottom. The stem were thin but looked hard. If only Sam & Yik sold this plant... hai..

    Thank you

    ZC,

Since you got the pic from tropica, you should know the name right... if we know the name, it will be much easier to know where you can get it.

The pic in the from tropica is kinda difficult to identify. Try the:

    http://www.eheim.de/e/eheim.htm

    or

    http://www.dennerle.de/ENGLISCH/e_frameset.htm

    They have nice pictures there.
    Cheers!!
