usually stack and silicone together...but there r some which u can stack and they wouldnt fall, all depends on the shape... that foregrd plant shld be the Echinodorus quadricostatus.. as for the IDing of dwarf and large anubias, u gotta ask someone else

Hmmm... that looks more like Sagittaria to me.
As for big and small Anubias, the big ones (A. barteri var. barteri) have longer leaf stalks. The small ones (A. barteri var. nana) has shorter stalks. If you go to Teo's they can show you the difference.

I've always found it fascinating when ppl keep forgetting SGP's multi-racial...sigh....

You can get E. Quadricostatus from Teo's. Not sure if he has Saggitaria. You can ask the forum too. Both are prolific plants and some forumers will have some to spare at some time.

yes, teo has saggi.. its located at the last concrete pond.. look closely as its filled with water
Hi guys,
Where is a good place to get nana (one with short stems) other than Teos (pretty out of place for me) ? And how do we grow it onto driftwoods ? I presume like the bigger anubias .... tie it down with fishing line. I have the bigger anubias but it never seems to grow as big as I first got it and it has thick rhizomes which nanas don't have ?

Btw, I do have Java ferns too but it has been grown with black spots which I don't know what it is and some even have furry algae growing at the edges. I had them for months but they seem to struggle and never really propagate. I made sure they are shaded and not exposed to bright lights which algae can overcome them. Does your java ferns propagate on their own ? Any clue where I could have gone wrong ? My water temp. is 29-30 deg cel. Thks.
