Hi Vincent, don't you afraid your cat eat your fish?
Well, we have fish photos, bird photos, insects photos, now cat photos!
Introducing my cat, Mei mei.
Hi Vincent, don't you afraid your cat eat your fish?
Well, she has yet to step into my own house. She is at my girlfriend's place all the time, where she can roam around freely in the backyard and roof.
I like cats! This series seems to be underexposed and the white balance seems off.
I would prefer very tight crops for the first and second picture.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Yeah, cats are great, had a whole bunch while living in kampung in my younger days. Independent but sociable.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Shooting conditions were bad. It was shot in the evening with not much ambient lighting. I am already at ISO 3200 and f2.8. Cannot stop down the shutter speed else any movement she will be blur from my handshake.
I don't like to shoot cats using flash as they tend to either have red eye problem or dilated pupils. I feel that cats with fully opened pupils looked the cutest.
WB is indeed off now that you mentioned it.
hope i'm not hijacking...
but if you have WB'ed for fish shoots (i.e. white background in fishtank with water) wouldn't that be the cause of WB being out for your cat shot?

It is a good day to die!!!
I finally uploaded an avatar and Cupid is dead!!!
I was using AWB for this series of shots. Maybe I overdid my WB compensation for the yellow lights from the ceiling lamp. So now it looked red!
