Hope I post in the correct section.

Few day ago, I have discovered a few dead "dragonfly" look insects in my tank. Today, I caught FIVE (alive) with 3 hidding under my petite nana.

For info, those petite nana have been in my tank for >1mth. Dead "dragonfly" discovered post Golden nana planted (last Fri). I suspected maybe there are some insect eggs "sticked" on the Golden nana.

    1) What is the actual name for this insect?

    2) Harmful?

    3) Any effective method to get rid of it without rescaping my tank?

    Regards

Usually come with the common shrimp you buy in the fishstore, always one, two or three in the bag of shrimp I buy. I just pick them out when I notice them. Yes harmful as they will eat the shrimp.

My understanding is that the dragonfly incests grow in the same conditions as shrimps do, and therefore the eggs are present. If you go to a LFS and look at their shrimp tank,. you will often see dragonfly babies in there.
I think possibly the reason you didn't see them previously is they are better at hiding compared to shrimp and are often in a dark corner of close to the ground in a place that is hard to find.

Yes. I find those alive "dragonfly" insects under either my petite nana or near substrate.

Presently, I have Boraras and Microrasboras in my tank. They seem not interested to eat those undesirable insects.

I read from somewhere this "dragonfly" insect called n???fly. Can't recall it.
