    As far as I know, control cables were made for low current, DC usage. I may be wrong .

    i guess it all depends on the thickness of the wire core. For military vehicles operating on 24v battery supply, we sometimes use up to 12 core wire. 12 core wire cost $150 for a length of 3 meters. I have the figure because i did a project for the army which has got an annual cost saving of around $200K.

    just for sharing, here is my 2 ft T5HO casing in the making with 3 tubes of T5HO tubes.
