maybe 3 feet tank if you are not breeding them. If you intend to keep two fish, they might fight it out, you will have to partition them when they starts to fight. About breeding oscar...heard that to breed them, you might have to keep 5-6 fish together and let them pair up themselves. You will need a much larger tank. They put bricks and pots in for breeding tank, didn't see plants. Beware, they have huge appetite!!
They are quite like LH many years back, many people kept them.

You can never tell the sexes apart for Oscars. I had a pair. Tyco one. Laid so many eggs. Make so much money. After 5 years liao, i still can't see the difference

A 2ft will never be enough for even one fish, let alone 2. I keep them in a 4 ft tank. Which is the right size. 3ft also do well

2ft you can put 2 Oscars is there are very young. When they grow, they will need a much bigger tank. And bear in mind, they grow up pretty fast. It will not be good to squeeze the fish like that.

Many a times, I see ppl cramping 2 large Luohans in a partitioned 2ft tank. Quite sad, in my opinion.
    Cheers!!
